invisible wire underground dog fence

Outdoor Dog Guard System:

A transmitter is mounted inside of the garage or home and a twisted pair of wires are run from the transmitter to the boundary area.  A single wire, which emits a signal, is run around the perimeter of the boundary area.  The dog wears a small receiver collar; when he enters the signal field, the receiver activates, giving a warning tone and a mild electronic correction.  Additional wiring can be run around landscaping and pools to keep pets out of off-limits areas within their containment area.

A basic Dog Guard loop with an additional zone to keep your dog from going for a swim.
In the illustration at the right the "green zone" indicates the dog's safe area where he can play and be off leash without concern.  The "yellow zone" is where the Dog Guard receiver collar will give an audible tone and low level reminder correction.  90% of the time the yellow zone will turn your dog back into his safe area.  In the yellow zone the correction can be set at any one of 32 levels of intensity, so it can be set just right for the personality and temperament of your dog.  The "red zone" is rarely used by your pet but it is the point at which the T-4 transmitter will sense that the dog is penetrating the signal field and the transmitter will automatically increase the correction level on the receiver collar so that the dog will turn back to the safe area.  To see more design configurations click here.

It should be noted that simply installing pet containment equipment and exposing your pet to it, does not achieve the goal of consistent containment.  A training period is required to achieve any level of constancy when it comes to keeping your dog safely in your yard.  At Dog Guard Pet Fencing we are there to train your dog and to teach you how to train your dog in our absence.  We train with you during the crucial training sessions during which the training regimen is altered, and we continue to make assessments throughout the training process so that we can advise you and make adjustments to the training regimen as needed to best accommodate your pet.
